Our client, a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Geotechnical Operations Manager to lead and grow their southern Ontario team. This is a permanent, full-time position, paying a salary commensurate with experience, along with profit sharing, RRSP matching, and a competitive vacation and benefits package. Reporting to the Director, you will scale a high-performing group focused on land development and due diligence, with a mandate to triple the team size over five years. This position can be based out of any of our client’s Hamilton, Waterloo, London, St Catharines and Tilbury offices.

What You’ll Do
- Mentor and scale a high-performing group of engineers and technical staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and client care
- Oversee daily delivery of geotechnical services
- Optimize resourcing, scheduling, and quality assurance
- Act as a trusted advisor to real estate and development clients
- Expand business through strong relationships and cross-functional collaboration
- Support budgeting and performance tracking
- Improve margins through smart planning and risk management
- Guide investigations, design, and reporting
- Represent the firm in technical forums and ensure professional excellence
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering
- P.Eng. in Ontario (or eligible)
- 8+ years in geotechnical consulting with leadership experience
- Strong business acumen and client management skills
- Proficiency in geotechnical modeling tools
- A growth mindset and passion for team development
